Fascinated by a Psychologists ability to murder over 300 patients in over two decades, and never be caught, he spent many countless days and nights going over any details publicly known. He was watched by and had intrigued his potential sire, who also took notice of the Shipman case. Inevitably he shifted his focus to the young researcher, and took him into the family.
After the Embrace, his schooling and enhanced talents allowed him to leave the United Kingdom, and set up a business in the capital of Illinois. Since then, he has helped countless people cope with their psychological conditions. He has never claimed a person to be cured, for as he sees it, becoming 'cured' is living the rest of your existence in a constant state of denial.
Lately, his personal research has taken a new course following the suicide of Harold Shipman in '02, in which his focus is now the vampiric Beast. His work and research continues night after night with the aid of his secretary, a long time ghoul to his sire, while still maintaining his service to the mortal public, and his duties as Malkavian Primogen.
Suddenly, in January '07, an issue had came about. Apparently there were rumors of an attack by Dr. Thornton against Ian Selerano and several others of clan Assamite. By the end of the night, Dr. Thornton was unable to be contacted after a meeting with the accusing Assamites, and whispers of 'skin rider' begin to spread. What does this mean, and what has become of the long standing, credible member of the Camarilla?
